Charles as Speaker and Teacher

With the Training School well-organized and with his son Lowell taking on the administrative role, Charles went on multiple lecture tours from 1933 to 1945. No matter whether he traveled east or west, north or south, Charles spoke about the importance of understanding and living the fundamentals of Unity theology. Unity minister, teacher, and author Vera Dawson Tait recalled that Charles frequently said, “Always look for the thread that will lead you back to Truth.” It is Truth that aligns us with God as divine principle.

While Charles spoke on many different topics, he emphasized four ideas: the power and example of Jesus Christ, the need to continually align our minds with the spiritual world, the recognition that each person has power within them, and the abundance of prosperity.
