Unity Farm: 1919-1953
Recreation
Early construction at Unity Farm did not neglect facilities for recreation. A two-hole golf course opened as early as 1921 and was expanded to nine holes by 1924. Unity Farm's swimming pool was completed in 1922, and the tennis courts in May 1923. Unity Farm had its own Country Club and Clubhouse to provide "clean, constructive amusements" for Unity workers.
